ROGER KEMMITT - PRESIDENT
With an impressive 35-year journey in the industry, Roger’s career is a testament to his dedication, leadership, and expertise.
Roger’s story began in 1989, when he started as a painter at just 19 years old. Over the years, he steadily advances through the ranks - serving as foreman painter, field supervisor, and field operations manager, before stepping into his current role as President in 2014. His deep understanding of the field, combined with his leadership experience, makes him an invaluable asset to our team
Beyong MLM, Roger is a dedicated advocate for the industry. Since 2014, he has served as a Trustee for the Painters and Glaziers Employers Association of New England, working alongside the Painters and Allied Trades District Council 35 Union to help shape the future of the trade
JOHN LEAHY - VP, HEAD OF DRYWALL & ACT DIVISIONS
With 23 years of experience in the commercial drywall industry, John has played such an important role here at MLM for the past 13 years, stepping into the Vice President role in 2021.
He started in construction at a young age when he spent his teenage years building playgrounds across New England. John then went on to pursue a business degree from Saint Michael’s College and build a successful career in the industry.
John loves to spend time with his wife, Katy and their children Paddy, Brendan, and Nolan. Whether coaching their youth sports teams or working on carpentry projects together, he brings the same dedication and teamwork to his personal life as he does his career.
CJ MOSSALI - VP, HEAD OF STRETCHWALL DIVISON
CJ’s passion for construction began at a young age, working in home renovations during his early teens. As he progressed in his career, he joined M.L. McDonald part-time throughout high school and college. He initially attended UMass Dartmouth before tranferring to Umass Lowell in his junior year, allowing him to balance his education with a 30-hour work week at M.L. McDonald. His time at Lowell also enabled him to earn academic credits for his real life experience, and he graduates with a degree in marketing.
For over 20 years, CJ has been an integral part of StretchWall, helping lead the company through key milestones, including the aquisition of its manufacturers and its merger ith M.L. McDonald in 2021. In 2016, he was promoted to Vice President and Head of the StretchWall Department, where he continues to drive innovation and growth.

PAUL MANGUM - VP, HEAD OF PAINT DIVISION
Paul’s journey with MLM started over 30 years ago when he joined the company in April 1993 as a paint estimator. With a Building Construction Technology degree from Wentworth (‘92) and a passion for the industry, he quickly gre into a project manager role. His dedication and leadership led him to become VP and head of the paint department
Paul’s commitment to MLM goes beyond his own career, both of his children now work alongside him! When he’s not ensuring top-quality work for our clients, you’ll find him spending time with family or nuturing his impressive plant collection. (Seriously, stop by his office, it’s like a mini botanical garden!)
